The Village
The village of Cound has a Grade 1 listed church which has recently celebrated its 800th Anniversary.
On the approach to the village you will drive over a bridge which is the oldest iron bridge still in vehicular use in the world.
Next to the Church is a popular secondhand bookshop.
There is an active village community which hosts a number of annual events including local Snowdrop and Bluebell walks (with afternoon tea in the Village Hall), Fete, Flicks in the Sticks and a Candlelit Carol Service in the Church which is also a venue for Musical concerts and Art Exhibitions.
